Our friends at TimeAware did a great job helping out with the making of the video by doing motion capture on site. By making the dancer do the same dance several times in the Xsens MVN motion capture suit, they would have a good reference to start with. Even though the motion capture did a great job for reference, the rest was a lot of 3D animation! Combining 11 GoPro reference cameras from every angle and several motion capture takes, it provided as much reference for the animation team as possible.
