In Cinefex issue 146 there is the cover-story on Batman vs. Superman. It talks about all the VFX work that was done for the movie. It includes work done by our customer Double Negative.
In a section on Batman's nightmare, Tom Proctor, VFX Supervisor at Double Negative, says:
"For background fights, we used body-tracked stunt-vis that we assigned to digi-doubles fighting. Our animation lead, Michael Lum, is a pretty athletic dude. He'd go down to our performance room, put on an Xsens MVN motion capture suit, and record clips of himself acting out bits of action. He did quite a lot of leaping around, and sourced that for the background action."
