In the second day of our Sports Conference, 'How to Secure Peak Athletic Performance', we welcomed guests with expansive experience in the health and performance space. Below we give an overview of the exciting live event.
These experts offered insights into different methods in which sports technology can be applied to athletic training, injury risk mitigation, and overall club management.We were proud to feature speakers from industry-leading organizations such as WIMU, JOTA Sport, Firstbeat, Kinduct, and more, who shared insights about the sport technology space.
We hope that by showing the innovative combination of measuring and management tools, performance / strength coaches, athletic trainers, sports scientists, and others will discover new ways to improve athletic health and performance.

Pit stops in motorsport can change a race, either for the better or worse. In 24hrs Le Mans 2021, Jota came second by only 0.7sec. One of the issues we had in the race was a cross threaded wheel nut, which can add at least 30sec to a pit stop. Another contributing factor was fatigue within the pit stop crew. In her presentation, Cassie McColl speaks to how she uses Xsens provides motion analysis data to take Jota’s pit stops to the next level. Since adopting the technology, Jota’s pit stop time by 2.5sec and achieving one of the fastest pit stop times in our first race of World Endurance Championship 2022.
