Xsens motion capture software
A lot. Real-time 3D animation, data streaming, and reference video recording. The software has built-in timecode and remote-control plugins, handles data rates up to 158 Mb/min, and exports to formats such as ASCII (HTML), C3D, BVH, MVNX, FBX, and movie containers like AVI and M4V.
Xsens’ proprietary HD Reprocessing Engine gives you the best quality motion capture data available in the market. The processed data is instantly ready to be integrated into your animation pipeline.
Xsens Animate Export and Animate Pro offer HD reprocessing locally.
Consider these questions when making the best choice for the subscription:
Live streaming is possible with MVN Animate Plus and Pro. Streaming a virtual optical marker set is only available in MVN Animate Pro.
Animate Live supports two live actors. With the Amnimate Export, you can capture and record one character at a time. Animate Pro allows you to record up to 4 characters at a time - or unlimited actors with on-body recording.
If you want to make use of 3D positional aiding with either HTC Vive or GPS, to get high-quality data with less clean-up, you’ll need MVN Animate Pro.
You cannot export files in MVN Record and MVN Animate Plus. Use Xsens MotionCloud subscription to export MVNX, FBX and BVH files. In MVN Animate Pro you can export locally to MVNX, FBX, BVH and C3D.
