Unreal Engine (live)
The Unreal Engine 5.2 supports the Xsens MVN live stream through Live Link by Xsens or the IKinema plugin.
You can stream your Motion Capture data live from MVN into Unreal. This way, you can directly have your character interact with the virtual environment while you are performing.

New Unreal 5.1 plugin release:
The live plug-in of MVN Unreal Engine 5.2 can receive real-time motion capture data streams from Xsens MVN Animate and Xsens MVN Analyze. These software tools serve as the primary means of interacting with the Xsens MVN suit, enabling body motion capture.
The new plugin has several updates:
• Remapping of full body and fingers is intuitive and easy. You can select from preset naming conventions such as UE, Maya, Xsens, or create a customized one.
• You can remotely control MVN and initiate or halt a Live MVN session from within UE, with the support of Blueprint.
• Timecode is supported.
• MVN Prop is supported.
• VIVE objects are supported.
Finally, the plug-in is updated to support UE5.2.
To get started, download the plugin from the Unreal Marketplace (MVN Live Link) enable the livestream in MVN and setup your character in Unreal.
All the steps to setup the entire Unreal Live pipeline can be found on our knowledge base (documentation and example project).
